• Merahkii Styles will reach out to you about your custom design order and whether to accept or decline the order.

• If your custom order is approved and you continue to move with the custom design process, you must follow the policies and procedures Merahkii Styles has here (custom design policy).  

​

• Consultation: We will move forward with booking the initial virtual consultation, The initial consultation is via conference call, Facetime, or Zoom. During the consultation, we will go over the idea that envisions for your dream custom garment and price quote. In personal meeting will follow the consultation and would be scheduled during the initial consultation.

• In-Person Meeting: In-person meeting, during the in-person meeting we will go over the final sketches and design.

​

• Measurements: Take measurements during in-person meetings. Please wear or bring the undergarments and shoes that you plan to wear with the outfit to make sure the measurements are accurate.

​

• Deposit: During the in-person meeting the client must provide a 50% deposit of the total cost of the garment. (The deposit will go towards the total price. the deposit goes toward fabrics, supplies, materials, and pattern making and the client has no claim to them. therefore, deposits are 100% nonrefundable).

​

• Design Process: After the deposit is received the design process starts. All garments are made one by one, custom to each client’s specific measurements, height, and color request. All our custom designs are hand sewn and made to order. Due to this, production times can vary. PLEASE NOTE: You must book and fill client-in take form at least 7 to 8 weeks prior to your desired date. 

 

• Fittings: There will be multiple fittings appointments throughout the design process. Generally, there are three to four fittings, but can be more until the custom design is completed to your satisfaction.

• The balance of the custom order is due when 24 hours before the desired date. The final custom garment will not give to the client until full payment has been made.

​

• Merahkii Styles allows up to 30 days after you have received your custom order to do any alterations if necessary.

​

• Once you receive your custom design, please, don’t forget to tag us in your photos! Thank you!

If we’re not the original designer, the dress will not be identical to the inspirational photos. I recommend going to the original designer if you want the dress to look exactly like the inspirational photos.
